Lyric Hammersmith has announced its 2024/25 season and tickets go on sale Monday 19th February at 11 am.
Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan directs Timberlake Wertenbaker’s Olivier Award-winning play, Our Country’s Good. With Timberlake Wertenbaker revisiting the piece for this brand new production.
Lorraine Hansberry’s American classic A Raisin in the Sun is directed by Lyric Artistic Associate Tinuke Craig in a co-production with Headlong, Leeds Playhouse and Nottingham Playhouse.
Play On! will be a musical based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, directed by Michael Buffong, set in New York’s Cotton Club, featuring Duke Ellington’s timeless music. A This will be a co-production with co-pro with Talawa Theatre Company and will make its London premiere at the Lyric in 2025.
The pantomime this Christmas will be Aladdin. Tickets are currently 30% off.
