Our book group loved Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel so when Barack Obama recommended Sea of Tranquility, we leapt at the chance to read it.

We did not all love it but we had a fantastic discussion and a jolly good night out.

If your book group have not ventured into the world of science fiction for a while, this might be a useful place to start (though if you have not yet tried Station Eleven, that is better!)
